The New York Police Department are searching for a couple that dropped an engagement ring down a city grate in Times Square.
On Twitter, the NYPD released footage of the happy moment - which suddenly turned sad - when the man proposing got too excited and dropped the engagement ring.
WANTED for dropping his fiancée’s ring in @TimesSquareNYC!

NYPD said they found the ring, cleaned it up, and are wanting to reunite it with the couple.
