NOWATA, Okla. – Extra security will reportedly be on campus at Nowata High School on Thursday after administrators say they found a threatening message on the bathroom wall.
According to a post on Facebook by Nowata Public Schools, the "threat towards the school" was found written on the wall of the girls’ bathroom in the high school on Wednesday.
The post says the school is working alongside Nowata police to make sure the students are safe.
Law enforcement members, along with a police dog, will be on hand to protect the kids. Bags will be checked prior to entering the school to also ensure nothing happens, says the school.
