NOWATA, Okla. — One person is in custody after a standoff in Nowata.
It started Wednesday evening around 9 p.m. between Mississippi and Scoop Cooper on US Highway 60, according to the Nowata Police Department's Facebook page.
Police closed down the area and urged people to stay away. After a few hours police took the suspect into custody without incident.
