Normandy Apartment residents say the grass has not been cut in months

TULSA, Okla. — Residents at Normandy Apartments near East 38th and Sheridan are literally walking through knee high grass.

Carlisha Mayberry has been living at the complex for almost a year.

“I say it all the time, we're in the forest, the woods. Anything can jump out at any time,” Mayberry said.

Mayberry and several other residents have addressed the issue with management.

2 Works for You's Problem Solvers team reached out to the manager of the property.

Mallory Parker did not want to be interviewed, but told us she has secured a new landscaper and the grass will be cut Thursday.

Mayberry is hopeful so her children can play outside again.

“The grass stands taller than my five year old,” Mayberry said.
