OKLAHOMA CITY -- No new flu deaths have been reported in Oklahoma over the last week, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
In a report, OSDH did increase the total of flu deaths by 16.
The department says the increase is due to late reports received on deaths that occurred at the end of January through the beginning of February.
None of the new deaths reported occurred over the last week.
The increase brings the total of flu-related deaths in the state so far this flu season to 84.
So far, 2,228 people have been hospitalized in the state due to the flu.
