BIXBY, Okla. — A new year and new road work will soon take place in the City of Bixby.
In a Facebook post, the city said Harmony Bridge was structurally tested and it is safe.
Crews will begin washing and painting the bridge Jan. 6, as well as, replacing the current fencing.
This first phase is expected to last for 120 days, officials said. The bridge will be closed during construction.
Officials say the second phase will add surfacing, lights and shade structures.
