New restaurant and jazz club to open in downtown Tulsa

Posted

TULSA -- A new restaurant and jazz club will be opening soon in downtown Tulsa in the historic Archer Building.

The restaurant and club, Duet, will offer both dining and a full-service bar downstairs at the jazz venue once it opens in the fall.

The venue, at 215 East Archer Street, will present local and national jazz acts and other art forms at a 140-seat setting.

“Duet will be a truly unique Tulsa experience,” explains Principal Architect, Chris Lilly. “The building is an early 1920’s freight warehouse, surrounded by history. Guests can enter off Detroit Avenue down a staircase to a speakeasy style door or from the upstairs restaurant. The glowing onyx bar will set the mood for an unparalleled experience for musical immersion. Reminiscent of an underground shelter, the exposed brick, stone and concrete surfaces lend to a wonderfully intimate environment to showcase world-class performers.”
