Tulsa's Race Riot Massacre of 1921--how much do you know about what happened to the Black Wall Street and the Greenwood District?

Soon, Oklahoma teachers will be able to teach students about the race riot.

The commission is about to unveil a new lesson plan.

State Senator Kevin Matthew, D-Tulsa, is the chairman of the centennial commission.

"It's the opportunity to teach about something that's simple as was it a race riot? Was it a massacre? And what could we do? What could we have done to have avoided it and what could we do to avoid that in the future?" said Matthews.

On Tuesday, the new curriculum will be unveiled.
