TULSA -- Starting Nov. 1, you won't be able to sit there in the left lane for a long time.
If drivers don’t move over, the new law says you could get a $235 ticket plus court costs.
“I think that's exciting, me personally, I try to use the left lane appropriately, but I’m probably a little bit quicker of a driver, so it's pretty upsetting when people have you blocked off one in the right, one in the left virtually going the same speed," said Simon Richardson, a driver.
Lots of people live through the headaches of drivers who just sit in the left lane.
Some drivers see the new law as another ticket or think it's just too confusing with all the traffic congestion out there.
“I don't know, i don't know how that's going to work, traffic if bottled up, i don't know if it's going to work real well or not," said Lisa Davidson.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation told 2 Works For You its installed signs on Interstate 40 and Interstate 35. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority said its putting in signs reminding drivers on the Turner and Will Rogers turnpikes.
