TULSA -- The city of Tulsa has launched a new app that will make for a more convenient option for downtown Tulsa parking.

Users can now use their smartphone to pay for on-street parking with the ParkMobile app, which can be downloaded at www.parktulsa.com or in the App Store or Google Play store.

New parking pay stations have been installed in the Tulsa Arts District. Users can pay for parking by coin, card or by calling the phone number 1-877-727-5715.

Users will use their license plate number to initiate payment for on-street parking.

Crews continue to work to replace all older meters with new pay stations.

Tulsa on-street metered parking is set at two hours for $1 per hour and parking hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
