Do you have any plans tonight?

If you don’t and are searching for something fun to do in Tulsa, we might have a solution. This week the George Kaiser Family Foundation announced a new app called Root Tulsa.

It is similar to apps like Yelp and Urbanspoon letting users know about places to eat around town, but also it features events near you.

The app is only available on an iPhone for now, and it's free.

A program officer at the foundation says if users have any ideas for the app, you can submit them at the app's website.

Friendly reminder: Of course, if you are planning to attend an event outside, don't forget to download our app!

Events shows all the things happening, just search the dates and find upcoming events!

Third: There are so many cool and interesting facts about Tulsa included in the app.

The app serves as an urban field guide for those trying to navigate through Tulsa, especially for downtown.
