TULSA, OK (KJRH) — The BOK Center was filled with fans from around the country, but as the crowds shifted in and out of the arena, the bars around downtown remained packed.

Elgin Park was prepared for the crowds, and closed off roads to accommodate all the people. The restaurant and brewery was packed inside, but on such a nice day fans didn't mind staying out as well. Elgin park saw around 1,000 visitors on Thursday, and after just a few hours quickly caught that number Friday.

Most fans were from out of town, but some were out trying out new places to experience the madness with the visitors.

"Any time you get one of these big events at the BOK, and it's done such a good job bringing different events to town, it's a great thing," said Greg Dorholt, an OU fan taking in the games at Elgin Park. "I just came down to show support and enjoy the expansion of the downtown Tulsa area."

Bar and restaurant owners are looking forward to keeping up their numbers, as fans are expected to stay through the weekend, even as four teams are eliminated.
