NBC's Kerry Sanders dives with Oklahoma Aquarium bull sharks

Posted

NBC's Today Show was live at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks Monday morning, as NBC Correspondent Kerry Sanders took a dive inside a pool full of bull sharks to see if sharks are actually interested in humans.

Sanders became the first non-staff member of the Oklahoma Aquarium allowed to dive with the sharks. Jodi Cooper of Edmond will be the second. She was the winner of a recent contest to be granted permission to dive with the aquarium's ten adult bull sharks. Cooper's name was drawn Friday afternoon, out of the entries received from across the world.

Before he went live on TODAY, Sanders joined 2 Works for You Today's Scott Thompson & Lisa Jones to go over the preparation that went into Monday's dive and what he's learned about bull sharks.
