TULSA – Turkey Mountain trail, used by many citizens over the years, is now receiving national accreditation.
The National Park Service is now including the Tulsa trail located at 6850 South Elwood Avenue as part of the National Trails System. Overall, six trails were added, bringing more than 350 miles to the National Trails System.
If you want to celebrate, it seems that June 4 would be the best day to do so because it’s National Trails Day.
