TULSA -- Two National Guardsmen returned to Tulsa after being stationed in Afghanistan almost a year.

Lieutenant Megan Putze and Sergeant Shaylee Payden were reunited with their parents.

Lt. Putze has deployed twice and this was Sgt. Payden's first.

"I miss her," Leann Standingwater said about her daughter Sgt. Payden. "Everything about her. She is an awesome young lady. She has achieved so much in her life. I am just excited to have her home."

The women are excited to return to civilian life.

"I've been missing Cheddars," Lt. Putze. "I know that sounds silly. It's one of my favorite restaurants but get some good food and enjoy being home. It's good to be back in Oklahoma."
