TULSA -- Students at Nathan Hale Junior High walked out Wednesday in protest of violence.
The walkout happened at 10 a.m. at the school, which is located at 2177 South 67th East Avenue in Tulsa.
Officials said the walkout was to protest violence.
Officials said the walkout is being used as a learning opportunity for students when it comes to being active members of a democracy.
