Muskogee police are praising their Officers of the Year Tuesday evening.
The department selected officers, Ron Mayes and Dillon Swaim.
Muskogee police say Officer Mayes works with the community to build relationships, including with programs like the kids summer track program he started with his brother called No Speed Limit Track Club.
The department says Officer Swaim sets an example for other officers, and helps the community, including buying groceries for families on thansgiving with his own money.
