MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Starting on June 16, music fans will pack up and head towards the Muskogee Music Festival.

From June 16 to 18, musical artists from a wide range of genres will perform including county, rock and Americana.

The late great Merle Haggard, aka singer of “Okie from Muskogee,” was originally scheduled to perform at the event before his death in April.

On the same day that Merle was scheduled to perform, festival organizers have blocked out a time to have a “special tribute to Merle Haggard.”
