MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. — Authorities with the Muskogee County Sheriff's Office are searching for a man who escaped after pursuit early Thursday morning.
Around 5 a.m. on Thursday, deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle out of Tulsa. The driver didn't stop and a pursuit ensued. After chasing the vehicle for several miles, the driver stopped and ran away on foot.
Officials said the driver, Jonathan Barns, was able to escape on foot, and the passenger, Darren Lyle, 29, was arrested on warrants.
Anyone who sees Barns is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office.
