MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- A Muskogee church was vandalized overnight Wednesday.
Senior Pastor Marlon Coleman told 2 Works For You this is the second time his church, Antioch, The Temple of Hope in Muskogee, has been vandalized.
”We couldn’t have service tonight because we’re battling repairs versus battling repairing their lives,” said Coleman.
Coleman said the vandals didn’t steal anything inside the church, but destroyed the irreplaceable stained glass windows.
”What’s disappointing about the whole effort. We’re in the process of trying to renovate this building, so that the kids from the church and within the community can have a safe place. Well now we’re set back,” said Coleman.
Muskogee Police are investigating.
