MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- The Muskogee Animal Shelter is asking for help due to overcrowding issues.

The shelter says it has 21 animals on stray hold, with no room for a single dog in a kennel. The shelter says up to four dogs are being forced to occupy one kennel.

Due to the large amount of stray holds, some adoptable animals are in "extreme danger," the shelter said.

For more information, visit the shelter's Facebook page here or give them a call at 918-684-6285.
