Muskogee's 911 center is looking to add a new service called 'Text to 911'.
The system is not online yet, but it would allow for callers to send emergency text messages to dispatchers.
911 Coordinator Darryl Maggard said he's tried to get this system for several years, but couldn't get funding.
Maggard said prices have gone down computer dispatch integration is easier now.
Muskogee County 911 is looking to get a grant from the City of Muskogee Foundation.
