The defendant in the case, James Poore, is charged with four counts of first-degree murder and two counts of robbery.
Kunzweiler began his opening statement with a timeline of the shooting dating back to January 7, 2013. He said, “Four women were bound up, herded into a room and shot execution style.”
Kunzweiler went on to say that that all the evidence they will present in the trial will lead to the defendant James Poore.
Poore’s brother, Cedric Poore, is also charged with the same felonies but will be tried separately.
