A man has been found guilty in the death of a young boy who died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Police say Noel Cruz left his car running in a closed garage last year with the door open into the house. He was found guilty of second-degree murder on Thursday.
The fumes killed 8-year old Noah.
The mother, Zaneta Questa Campbell, was not home at the time.
Campbell has been charged with permitting child neglect.
Her jury trial was pushed back to January 7, 2019, according to court records.
Prosecutors say Campbell was told not to leave the child in Cruz's care.
Cruz will be sentenced Oct. 18.
