Mumford and Sons auctions banjo to Tulsa charity

The band Mumford and Sons are scheduled to perform in Tulsa on Wednesday but not before touring the city and donating to a local charity.

One of the band members, bass player Ted Dwane, stopped by the Woody Guthrie Center Tuesday to check out the museum.

The entire band posted on Facebook showing a custom banjo to be auctioned off on Ebay. According to the post, the band plans to donate the proceeds to the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.

Mumford and Sons plan to play at the BOK Center around 7:30 p.m.
