Multiple crews respond to west Tulsa house fire; 2 people able to escape

Multiple fire crews responded to a house fire in west Tulsa Monday morning.

The fire started around 4:30 a.m. on South 60th West Avenue.

Firefighters say two people were sleeping inside when it started. They were able to make it out safely.

The home is said to be a total loss. Firefighters say the victims have somewhere to go.

The cause is still under investigation. No one was hurt.

Firefighters say there were smoke detectors in the home but they were not working.

Tulsa, Berryhill and Sapulpa fire crews responded.
