Congressman Mullin responded to Speaker Nancy Pelosi's announcement Thursday asking the House of Representatives to proceed with the articles of impeachment, according to a press release.
“Today, Nancy Pelosi stood in front of the American people and said the facts were not contested. That couldn’t be farther from the truth,” Mullin said. “There has been no treason, no bribery, no high crimes and no misdemeanors committed.”
“What’s best for the American people is being clouded by what the Democrat from Texas, Al Green, said: that if we don’t impeach the president, they’re afraid he will get re-elected. That’s what this is all about.”
