SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) -- A Harrah man was killed when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car near Shawnee.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Rex Helsel was pronounced dead at a hospital following the crash just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
An OHP report says Helsel was southbound on U.S. 177 when he crashed into a northbound car that was making a left turn from the highway onto a county road.
The driver and a 12-year-old boy in the car were hospitalized in serious condition and a 6-year-old boy in the car was treated and released.
