OWASSO - A 41-year-old man from Newella was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle and an SUV collided near 86th Street North and Highway 169.
According to police, a motorcyclist, later identified as 41-year-old Steve Thompson, was trying to merge from the side of the highway onto Highway 169 when the vehicles collided. A second SUV then hit Thompson, according to the Owasso Police report.
The accident is still being investigated.
