TULSA – Charges have been officially filed against a mother and her boyfriend for the child abuse death of a one-year-old child.
The mother of Navaeh Brookens- Roldan, 21-year-old Hallelujah Brookens, has been charged with permitting child abuse by injury after authorities confirmed the child was taken off life support and passed away last week.
Brooken’s “boyfriend” Nathanial Watkins, 25, is charged with one count of child neglect and one count of child abuse murder.
Official documents show that the baby was brought into the pediatric intensive care unit with multiple injuries including two black eyes and contusions.
