TULSA - Several suspects were arrested Monday after police learned a motel clerk was selling drugs.

Monday morning officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 2800 South Memorial Drive. Police say the passenger ate a bag of marijuana and was in possession of a syringe that police say may have contained heroin.

Authorities say the driver was in possession of paraphernalia. Both the driver, Lucas Shoemaker, and the passenger, Eugene Deverges, were arrested on several charges.

Police determined that the drugs were purchased at the Days Inn on 3200 South 79th Street. When police arrived at the motel, they found marijuana, methamphetamine and crack cocaine.

While attempting to place the clerk in handcuffs, Kasi Albert struck an officer in the leg while resisting arrest.

Both Albert and Rarue Caddy were arrested on several drug related charges.
