MLK, Jr. Commemoration Society awards $11,000 in scholarships

TULSA, Okla. — The Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Society is awarding $11,000 to six Tulsa-area students.

The students are enrolled in various colleges across the country for the upcoming year.

Three of the recipients are from Union Public Schools and the others are from Cascia Hall Preparatory School, Owasso High School and Broken Arrow High School.

The non-profit has awarded $91,000 in scholarships over the past three decades.

Congratulations to all of the students on their scholarship!
