A ministry reached out to the homeless in Tulsa, to help meet their needs in a special way.
Saturday, the City of Hope Outreach gave away new socks and tennis shoes.
They also gave away hygiene products and food.
The founder of the non-profit says it's an opportunity to make a faith-based impact.
"One of the most readily available forms of community is the church, so we connect people to a healthy church where they can basically create a family around them," said founder Jon Maust.
The City of Hope also provided job and housing assistance, among other resources.
