TULSA — 2 Works for You would like to welcome Mike Brooks to the 2 Works for You award-winning news team.

Brooks joins Karen Larsen at the anchor desk, alongside Chief Meteorologist Mike Collier and sports Director Cayden McFarland weeknights at 5,6 and 10 p.m.

Mike Brooks is a native of Green Country and graduated from Oklahoma State University.

In the 1990s he began as an intern for KJRH before his journalism career took him to Kansas, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, and most recently to Oklahoma City.

According to Mike, “I’m thrilled to join such an amazing team at KJRH and sit next to Karen Larsen. The KJRH newsroom may have changed since my time here in the 90’s, but the commitment to working for the people of Tulsa has remained the same.”

Mike Brooks joins the KJRH family along with Vincent Hill.

Hill will be the Saturday and Sunday evening news anchor.

Hill, a former U.S. Army Veteran and Nashville, Tennessee police officer is excited to call Tulsa his home.

“We are so excited to have Mike and Vincent joining the 2 Works for You family,” KJRH Vice-President and General Manager Amy Calvert said. “Their addition makes our already strong team that much stronger and helps us work that much harder for Green Country.”
