TULSA – Metro Christian Academy campus was secured after police searched for a potential suspect.

Tulsa police say the school was placed on lockdown around 10:15 a.m. but students and staff were able to move throughout the building. Later around noon, the school was taken off the precautionary lockdown.

Authorities say around that time they were searching for a male suspect believed to have been involved in "drug activity" near an apartment building at 80th and Wheeling.

Tulsa police went on to say that they did not believe the suspect was armed but that he could be near the school.
