How about 186,043 reasons?

That's how much money has been won this year in Oklahoma in the Mega Millions lottery game. We decided to break down the numbers courtesy of the Oklahoma Lottery.

$186,043 - Amount of prizes awarded in Oklahoma in 2016.

$48,500 - Amount of prizes awarded in northeast Oklahoma in 2016.

$25,000 - Largest amount won by an individual in a single drawing, which has been awarded twice. Raymond Q. in Broken Arrow and Tiffany J. in Norman in January and June, respectively.

$2,023.18 - Average amount each winner received (excluding the five winners who took home at least $10,000). 

50 - Number of winning tickets purchased in Oklahoma this year through July 5.

14 - Largest amount of winners during a single month in 2016. The June winners took home $52,514.

5 - Winners who took home at least $10,000. One person each won $10,000, $15,000 and $20,000. Two winners took home $25,000.

4 - Smallest amount of winners during a single month in 2016 - April and July (of course there's still time left in July).

3 - Number of winning tickets purchased in Oklahoma by non-residents. $2,500 was won by a Milwaukee, WI resident in Feb. $2,500 was won by a Wichita, KS resident and $1,000 was won by an Omaha, NE resident in April.

FEBRUARY - 8 winners totaling $12,508

MARCH - 5 winners totaling $10,510

APRIL - 4 winners totaling $26,000

MAY - 7 winners totaling $31,000

JUNE - 14 winners totaling $52,514
