McIntosh County Sheriff's Office conducts aerial marijuana mission, arrests two

MCINTOSH COUNTY, Okla. -- Two people were arrested Tuesday after members of the McIntosh County Sheriff's Office and several other Oklahoma law enforcement agencies conducted an aerial marijuana mission.

During the mission, members of the Sheriff's Department along with the District 25 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and Oklahoma National Guard Counter Drug Team seized several dozen marijuana plants that were being cultivated.

Darron Layman and Donnie Posey were arrested. Additional marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and firearms were seized during a search of residences.

Layman and Posey are being held on $15,000 bond.
