MCCURTAIN COUNTY -- An Amber Alert has been canceled out of McCurtain County after officials said a man kidnapped his wife and children.
Officers said Odell Nichols, a 34-year-old man, kidnapped his wife and children in the Smithville/Watson area. Officials also said his house has been destroyed and a vehicle has been burned.
Police were searching for Nichols in addition to his wife Julie Nichols, 32, Eli Nichols, 7 and Ethan Nichols, 4.
Officials said they were found safe.
