A McAlester man was reportedly killed dead during an attack in Kabul, Afghanistan this week.
The Department of Defense says Michael Sauro died from his wounds after an encounter with hostile enemy forces.
Sauro was a civilian employee working with the ammunition plant.
He died alongside U.S. soldier.
