TULSA - Mayor Dewey Bartlett and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol teamed up with AT&T Friday morning to create awareness on the dangers of texting and driving.
They met with AT&T customers outside the store located at Tulsa Hills Shopping Center while they waited to purchase the new iPhone 6S and 6S plus.
Mayor Bartlett and OHP Trooper Antonio Porter talked about the importance of staying focused on the road while driving and avoiding any distractions.
This was part of the "It can wait" campaign which AT&T started in 2013.
