TULSA – A man who was making a delivery in downtown is searching for answers after a shot was fired in his vehicle’s direction Thursday.
The shooting happened near Denver and Edison just before 1:00 p.m. According to the victim, it started a few miles away in a neighborhood near Union and Marshall.
Nicholas Brummund says he was sitting in his car at a job site-- where he was supposed to deliver air conditioning parts. He says the suspect was looking at him and making him feel uncomfortable.
Brummund insists he did nothing except drive away-- but the suspect followed-- eventually shooting out his back window.
“Glad I’m safe I mean I’m worked up yeah but why did I get shot at? What was the point of somebody shooting at me for no apparent reason….what was going through their mind is what I want to know, that’s my main question—why would you pull a gun on somebody who’s un-armed and did nothing wrong,” Brummund said.
Tulsa police were informed by the victim that the suspect was driving a white 90's model-type vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was described as a white male in his 30s with long brown hair and thinner build. A passenger in the vehicle was described as a white female in her 30s, with long brown hair.
No injuries were reported but Brummund's back passenger window was shattered.
