Mannford community prepares for Chief Miller's body to return to Oklahoma

MANNFORD, Okla. — The Mannford Police Department told 2 Works for You that Chief Lucky Miller's Body will be transported from Pensacola, FL to Oklahoma City, OK on Wednesday.

Officers and staff with the Mannford Police Department will head to Oklahoma City Wednesday afternoon to join in the procession that will bring Chief Miller's body from Oklahoma City to Stroud where he lived with his wife Amber Miller and three kids.

A family friend of the Miller's started a GoFundMein honor of Chief Miller to help the family with funeral expenses.

The Park Funeral Home in Stroud, OK told 2 Works for You that the procession bringing Chief Miller's body should be in town around 7 pm Wednesday.

The funeral is set for 10 am Saturday morning at the Davenport First Baptist Church. The Funeral Director told 2 Works for You that the funeral is open to public.

The family friend posted on Facebook that the City of Stroud is allowing people to line-up along Highway 99 from the turnpike to the funeral home to show support for Chief Miller.
