The Farm Shopping Center is attracting criticism from many Pokemon Go players.

"I've been here for five minutes, and I haven't seen any Pokestops in my map," said Alex Higgins, a Tulsa resident.

Higgins was one of dozens of players who set foot at the center today and was shocked to find out there were no more Pokestops.

"This became such a populated area for anyone to just come, socialize and even just enjoy playing the game," said Luke Spencer, another Pokemon Go player.

Management said the virtual stops, where players would collect free game items, attracted hundreds of people every day.

However, it started to become a problem in recent days.

Management said there were more people trespassing after curfew hours and trash and alcohol bottles left behind.

Contrary to what game players might think, these weren't reasons for the removal of the stops.

Management said it never requested Niantic, the game maker, to get rid of the Pokestops.

According to this website, anyone can fill out a removal request form and state what the problem is.
