Man with 7 outstanding warrants arrested after Sonic Robbery Saturday morning

TULSA -- A man was arrested after police responded to a robbery at a Midtown Sonic Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect approached a female employee and sprayed her in the face with pepper spray before taking money.

The alleged robbery happened at the corner of 2nd Street and Utica Avenue around midnight.

During the investigation, officers spotted a suspicious person riding away from the scene on a bicycle.

The victim was unable to identify Jody Higgins, but police arrested him for seven outstanding warrants resisting arrest, drug possession and driving the wrong way.
