Man wanted in Texas for sex crimes against children arrested in Okmulgee

OKMULGEE, Okla. — A man who was wanted in Texas for multiple sex crimes against children was arrested in Okmulgee on Wednesday.

Investigators with the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office received a tip that Brandon Hoover was at a home on Gensman Road near Okmulgee.

Hoover was arrested and taken to the Okmulgee County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Texas.

He faces two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and eight counts of possession with intent to promote child pornography. His bond was set at 1,000,000.

The charges are a result of an investigation by the Dangerfield, Texas police department.
