Police had been looking for David Silas, 29, in connection with the death. Police said they believe Silas was the last person to see Green and they said there is enough evidence to link him to her death.

He was arrested on a count of first-degree murder and felony warrants for a stolen vehicle and other property crimes after he turned himself in on Thursday, police said.
