BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – A man believed to be connected to a fatal hit-and-run earlier this summer has turned himself into authorities.
Broken Arrow police say that Nicholas Davenport surrendered to police Thursday evening. Davenport was wanted for the murder of Amanda Hart, which occurred on June 24.
Hart was struck by a vehicle after Davenport was shot by a suspect named Jake Hignite, says Tulsa police.
Hignite and Davenport both had felony warrants regarding this homicide. Hignite was arrested earlier on Thursday, several hours before Davenport turned himself in to police.
