TULSA - 61-year-old Bryan Adair was released from the Tulsa County Jail Friday morning after bonding out.
He told 2 Works for You that he turned himself in when he found out he had been charged with at least one felony.
The Department of Wildlife Conservation issued a warrant for Adair's arrest on Thursday for the theft of a mounted polar bear that was recently returned to its rightful owners.
He's been charged with larceny of lost property, possession of an endangered species and possession of prohibited wildlife
The polar bear in question originally belonged to the Gilstrap family. The R.L. Jones Jr. Riverside Airport had been home to the bear since the 1990s.
Earlier this month, however, the polar bear worth $50,000 was found inside an airport hangar.
