Man wanted after passing note to bank teller claiming he was armed

TULSA – Police are searching for a man accused of passing a note, using it to rob a bank Friday.

Tulsa police say the man entered the Bank of the West near the 3500th block of South Peoria Avenue and handed the teller a note indicating he was armed.

After taking the money, the suspect fled heading northbound from the business. No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5-foot-8 and around 160 to 170 pounds.
