TULSA--A convenience store clerk is threatened with a taser, and police are searching for the suspect.

It happened just before 7am on Thursday at the King Convenience Store. Tulsa Police says they responded to a call of an armed robbery.

TPD says the suspect was making a coffee when he dropped the coffee and asked for a mop.

Police say that when the store clerk came back with the mop, that's when the suspect pulled out a taser and demanded money from the register.

The suspect got money and demanded the clerk to go to the back room. It was then that the suspect opened the register, gathered up more cash and then walked away.

Police say that the suspect was also holding some powdered doughnuts and a banana.

The clerk wasn't injured.

The suspect also instructed the clerk to go to the back of the store. Unknown if suspect left on foot or in a car. Suspect is described as a 50-60 year old, 6 foot, medium build male with a grey stocking cap and a denim jacket. K9 was used to search the area. No injuries.
